Secure Multiple Sites with One Power Server ID SSL Certificate
Power Server ID certificates can secure up to 4 server names that reside on the same physical server and share the same second level domain name. When ordering your Power Server ID certificate you have the option to provide 3 alternative server names to be included in the certificate. The certificate we issue to you will contain these server names, along with the server name listed in the common name of the CSR you submitted, in the Subject Alternative Name fields.

For example, if you need to secure the following server names:

• www.yourdomain.com
• secure.yourdomain.com
• mail.secure.yourdomain.com
• anything.download.secure.yourdomain.com

and all of these server names are hosted on the same server box, you can purchase and install one Power Server ID certificate issued to one of the server names and containing the others in the Subject Alternative Name field to secure all these sites. The number of server names contained in the Subject Alternative Name field is limited to 3. If you need to span the Power Server ID certificate across multiple physical servers, you may purchase additional licenses.

Plus, with Power Server ID you get the GeoTrust Smart Seal. Smart seal technology provides fast, reliable and user-friendly web site identity authentication, and instant proof to your customers that your site can be trusted. The Power Server ID Smart Seal is dynamically-generated when someone accesses your site, and display a live time and date stamp. Users can click on a site seal to display your business registration information.
