How to add a Spam filter in Netscape for Macintosh
  1. Open Netscape Messenger and click on the Edit menu.

  2. Click on the Message Filters option.

  3. This will bring up the Message Filters dialog box. Click on the New button.

  4. This will open the Filter Rules dialog box.



  5. Name the filter SPAM and make sure the drop down boxes say "subject" and "contains" and the input box says "*****SPAM*****".


  6. Then click on the New Folder button and Type in SPAM for the name and click the OK button.



  7. In the Filter Rules dialog box, click the OK button now and your side menu of folders should look like this:


You now have SPAM filters set up for your email account.

Note: Periodically check through the SPAM folder and delete the emails that are spam
and keep the ones that are not.
